A LA CARTE SHOOT TERMS AND CONDITIONS





1. Availability of the A La Carte Shoot

i) The A la Carte Shoot is only available to book up to 3 months in advance.

ii) The A La Carte shoot is not available as a BodyGlow option.

iii) The A La Carte shoot is not available as a Photographer Experience Shoot.

2. Bookings and Deposits

Upon booking your A La Carte Shoot session a deposit of the full package price will be required to secure your booking. This can be paid by credit or debit card online or over the telephone or by bank transfer. Bookings can not be confirmed until the credit or debit card payment has been processed.

3. Confirmation

Once a booking has been accepted, a confirmation email or letter will be issued detailing the dates and times of the booking as well as confirming the deposit payment. We respectfully ask you to check these confirmation details to ensure correctness and accuracy.

4. Cancellation

i) Your right to cancel.

You have the right to cancel your session anytime within seven days of making your original booking and your deposit will be refunded minus a £5 fee to cover administration and card transaction costs. This can only be refunded to the card used to make the booking.

ii) Cancellation of Session.

Cancelling your session after the seventh day from the date your booking was made will mean your deposit is non-refundable.

iii) Cancellation of your appointment by us

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your appointment due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will refund your deposit in full or transfer the booking to another date if you prefer. We will not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by you for travel or accommodation.

iv) No Shows

If you do not show up for your appointment your deposit is non-refundable.

5. Postponements

i) Postponement with more than 28 days notice:-

Your deposit will be held towards a new booking on a different date for one postponement provided at least 28 days notice of the change of date is given. The date of the rescheduled appointment must be within 3 months of the day that you request the postponement.

ii) Postponement with less than 28 days notice:-

Your deposit will be forfeit and a new deposit will be required to book a new date.

6. Punctuality

Please ensure you are on time for your session as late arrivals can have a knock on effect to other appointments. We will always do our very best to accommodate our clients who have experienced travel problems or other difficulties which may cause delay in arriving at our studio but to be fair to our other clients and staff who may be affected by late arrivals we reserve the right to implement the following.

i) Up to 30 minutes late for your session:-

Whilst not ideal we will where possible make every attempt to absorb this time so as not to have a detrimental effect on your session. However, we respectfully reserve the right to deduct this time from your overall session time if necessary to prevent impacting on other appointments.

ii) More than 30 minutes late for your session :-

Arriving more than 30 minutes late for a session can have a detrimental effect on the shoot. Where we feel it unfeasible to continue with the shoot or be unable produce enough quality images in the time given to produce the final product, we respectfully reserve the right to cancel the session and treat the session as a No Show as above (4 iv).

7. Payment

i) Any balance outstanding for a shoot must be paid for in full on the day of the session on completion of the shoot. Payment can be made by cash or credit/debit card. We do not accept cheques.

ii) Payment for package upgrades and additional products must be made at the time of ordering. Please note that no editing/finishing will commence on extra images or products until full payment has been received.

8. Ordering Your Images

Whilst we do not want to rush our clients into making decisions with regard to their final images, we do have to place a time limit on letting us have the list of choices for editing and printing from the A La Carte Shoot. We therefore request that you observe the following timescales.

i) Your watermarked proof images will be uploaded to a private password-protected online gallery within 48 hours of the shoot. They will then be available to view for 2 weeks to give you the chance to order your included picture plus any other extra products you would like.

ii) Images will be kept on file for 6 weeks only. If we do not receive your choices within 6 weeks of your session date the files may be deleted without further notice.

iii) If you have given us your choice of images and they have been edited please approve them as soon as possible. If they are not approved within 6 weeks of the date of your shoot they may be deleted without further notice.

iv) If you have purchased the CD of your unwatermarked files you have 12 months to order pictures and products from your shoot.

v) There will be no refund on the money paid for your shoot if your files have been deleted before you contact us to order products from your shoot.

9. Delivery and Collections

i) Unless otherwise requested printed items will be despatched by Courier using a Next Day weekday service and charged for at cost price plus a small charge for packing. At present that is £13.50 for all books, albums and calendars and 12” x 8” prints without an album. CDs can be sent by Special Delivery for £6 or by Courier for £9. Shipping for larger items will be quoted individually.

ii) Items requested to be sent by Royal Mail Special delivery or for delivery by any courier on a Saturday will attract an additional charge which will be quoted to you on request.

iii) Items may be collected in person by prior arrangement in which case no delivery or packaging charge will be made. NB collections must be made during our normal working hours – 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
