Meet the New Member of our Team
Meet Catherine – the new 4th member of the Mighty Aphrodite team.
Catherine is our new Make up Artist & Hair Stylist and her services are available as an upgrade to our normal packages. She has slotted into the team so well – she is so lovely and very talented. She is very experienced having done wedding hair & make up for a number of years. And she has even had her own Mighty Aphrodite boudoir shoot so she can totally put you at your ease and chat to you about her own shoot to help to calm your nerves while she does your makeover!
We have always offered make up with our shoots but never hair styling, but recently we decided to trial offering hair services to some of our clients too and it has proved very popular. So we have decided to offer clients a choice when it comes to hair and make up.
Our traditional smokey-eye make up makeover done by me is still available and is included in the price of our Package One, Two & Three shoots. But you now also have the option to pay extra & upgrade to have a full professional makeover including full make up (with lashes if required) AND hair styling too done by Catherine. The price of the upgrade is £50.
So if you prefer to do your own hair or have it styled at your usual salon before your shoot and you are happy with a natural-looking or smokey-eye make up then this is already included with your shoot. But if you want to pamper yourself with hair styling as well as full professional make up, just let me know at the time of booking that you would like to add this to your package.
Mighty Aphrodite started in 2004 with just myself (Zena) and Leigh doing everything. In 2007 we were getting snowed under we were so busy, so we added Sam to our team to help with admin and image editing. Whilst it was scary at the time to give up complete control of any aspect of our “baby”, having Sam take over some of the editing meant that we could do more shoots and was revolutionary to our business. Sam became indispensable as she was much quicker at image editing than I was (and has turned out to be much better at it too).
And now we are so happy to welcome Catherine to our team – adding even more quality and choice to our service = even happier clients 🙂
