Vicky's Story
I didn't really feel nervous in the build up to the shoot because I don't
think I could get my head around what on earth I was letting myself in for.
The shoot was booked on a whim when I ran out of other ideas about what
to get Hubbie-to-be for our Wedding Day, so once I'd booked my shoot it
went to the back of my mind while the rest of the wedding was planned.
When I arrived at Leigh and Zena's studio the nerves started to hit in, but
they were both so lovely that I soon started to feel a bit more relaxed,
especially when Zena started to do my makeup! After the first few photos,
I was feeling reasonably calm - seeing the photos on the screen helped a
lot too. When Leigh asked if I wanted to do some less clothed shots I started
to feel quite shaky again, but Leigh and Zena were so professional and relaxed
about it that the nerves soon passed! By the end of the day, I was walking
around without any issues at all.
My confidence went through the roof after the shoot. I used to have various
issues with my body but now I feel so much better about myself. The photos
were amazing, they made me look like a model, I couldn't stop looking through
them and showed them to so many people because I was so proud of them. My
Hubbie has also noticed a difference, I feel like a completely different
person in the bedroom now :-)
The only negative was that the shoot was over so quickly! And having to
keep it a secret from my other half for so long was awful, and so hard!
I think his immediate reaction when I gave him the album was complete shock.
He asked me so many questions about the shoot and why I'd done it. He loves
how confident I am as a result of the photos and loves looking through them.
He has even mentioned getting one of the pictures framed and put on our
bedroom wall! My advice to anyone considering a shoot is just do it! It was a fabulous
experience that I would repeat again and again if I could.
