Natalie's Story
I had considered doing a boudoir photo shoot for some time, as I had seen them done on various television programmes and always thought how great it would be to do something similar. I had always felt quite sexy in the past, but pregnancy had changed my body and left me less than confident about my figure. When my birthday came round it seemed like the perfect opportunity to go for it. I looked at many different companies online and always came back to Mighty Aphrodite´s website as their pictures seemed to stand out from the rest, they had what I felt was a more sensual and believable quality to their images than others.
I felt a little bit nervous making the decision to book and thought it might be seen as though I must really fancy myself to be having photos done in lingerie/naked. The conversation I had with Leigh on the telephone made me feel one hundred percent better and made me realise that my feelings were completely ridiculous. After that I had a real lift and actually felt disappointed that they couldn´t fit me in sooner, because I was really excited.
The shoot was great and surprisingly comfortable considering the fact that I was naked in front of two strangers. The fact that Leigh and Zena are a husband and wife helped me to feel comfortable and Leigh showing you how to do the poses is always good for a giggle.
I will always remember the look on my husbands face when I asked him to look through the preview images...he was just staring and didn´t say anything, at first I thought he didn´t like them, but it soon became apparent that he was just absolutely engrossed and speechless (and they weren´t even the finished images)! I bought my husband the wallet size album afterwards which he loves and I am sure he´s probably shown it to his mates, but in all honestly I really don´t mind because I am really proud of my pictures.
A word of warning if you are considering booking a shoot: It could become really addictive!
