Lindsay's Story
Our wedding was coming up and I wanted to get my future husband Phill a really special present. In a way it was also a present for me as I´d heard lots of stories of people having their confidence boosted by boudoir shoots and I´ve always hated my body. I figured if it made me feel even a little better about myself it was going to be worth it!
On the day of the shoot I was actually really nervous. My husband knew about the shoot and was really pleased I´d decided to do it even though he wasnt going to get to see the pictures for a while... We had a 3 hour drive to get to Reading and I went the whole way just wondering what I was letting myself in for!! Leigh and Zena just put me totally at ease and by the time Zena had done my make up I was totally relaxed and really looking forward to it. I could see the pictures at intervals throughout the shoot and even felt comfortable enough not to worry about wearing the shirt they offered me between shots.
The whole time I was there we chatted and laughed and I managed to stop worrying about how I looked and just took my cues from them. When I went through all the pictures again I couldnt believe it was me in them, I was so pleased with them I just wanted to show them off! I´ve always hated pictures of me but these just made me see myself differently. The hardest part was narrowing the choice down for the album, I could have ended up with an album of over 100 images!
From Phill
When Lindsay told me that she was going for this shoot I thought she must be mad but I have to say that I love the pictures and the album was the best wedding present I could have asked for. She is now trying to convince me to have a joint shoot with her but I don´t think I am brave enough yet!
