Helen's Story
Driving the 2 hour journey down I felt absolutely fine... really excited about the shoot as I
know H2B will love the pics when he finally gets to see them. I'd prepared myself the night before and made sure I had everything ready and got an early night.
However, turning up at Leigh and Zena's I suddenly turned into a huge bag of nerves, so much so I was practically shaking!
But talking to Zena whilst she did my make up and Leigh as he was setting up calmed me down and put me at ease again.
At first I felt a bit uncomfortable about being semi naked in front of two strangers, but Leigh and Zena are such lovely, genuine and
professional people that I soon started to feel comfortable as soon as I'd seen the first set of pictures on the laptop.
The further we got through the shoot the more relaxed I felt and by the end of the second set I was more than happy to walk round in just my heels!
I couldn't stop smiling after leaving the studio, I felt on such a high and truly amazing about myself...
really proud too for being brave enough to go for it. I'd always felt really self conscious about myself
in the past and put myself down over the way I look but my pictures have truly changed that. I just couldn't believe what was on the laptop was me!
I'm a much happier, stronger and more confident person now. Truly at peace with myself.
